A Good Finish

The next trip to Yellowwood after catching that nice bass on a cicada imitation. This time the fishing was slow, and the cicada fly got some attention from bluegills while bass eschewed it. For some reason.

I crossed over to the west side and switched to a muddler variation and got into some scraps over it with some of those heavy gills that only come out after the sun goes down. Some of these are bigger pound for pound than many of the bass I've caught here. It made for a good finish.

  1. Good work, Jim. I may have to take an interest in whipping up some Cicada flies. Question? Do you mind if I share on of your Bluegill pictures over on my Facebook Page? https://www.facebook.com/Dublmmz/
